About MyDesigner
Where professional design expertise meets personalized service
I knew I'd made a mistake when the dresser arrived in a flat box on my doorstep. Hours later—with splinters, missing screws, a wobbly drawer—it was clear: I'd bought another piece of furniture destined for the curb.
Most People Don't Have Access to What Designers Do
The good stuff—the thoughtfully made, trade-quality furniture that interior designers know by heart—is hidden behind showroom walls. And even if you could find it, you'd likely be overwhelmed by options or blocked by a "trade only" policy.
That's When I Turned to Asia
A seasoned interior designer and grad school classmate who knows furniture and quality. Through her decades of experience sourcing high-end pieces for clients, she replaced our throwaway dresser with something truly beautiful, built to last.
The difference was mind-blowing.
I started thinking, how can others access the quality furniture and design sensibility I could get from my designer and friend?
So We Built MyDesigner
We offer custom groupings or "capsules" designed by a professional designer with decades of experience. We use only the kind of furniture they'd put in their own home: well-made, beautiful, and built to last.
We built our platform to bring real design expertise to real people, without the $300/hour designer fees. We match you with curated collections and floorplan-ready pieces from designer-trusted manufacturers. No flimsy flat-packs, no guesswork. Just timeless furniture selected by pros, tailored to your style, and delivered with white glove service.
What We Believe
At MyDesigner, our core values guide everything we do, from the furniture we select to the experience we create.
Great Design Should Be Accessible
Everyone deserves access to beautiful, well-made furniture and professional design expertise, not just those who can afford $300/hour designer fees.
Your Home Deserves Better
We believe your home deserves better than a trend cycle of fast furniture. Quality pieces that last generations, not seasons.
Professional Designers Know Best
No one knows better than a professional designer — so we built one into the experience. Every piece is selected by experts with decades of experience.
